‘Raanjhanaa’ has created success story at box office as well as impressed audience and critics. Going by its first week collection, the film, directed by Anand L Rai, has crossed nearly 34 crores.

Ask about this and how he managed to achieve it, the humble lead hero Dhanush said, “I just did my part and whatever director said, I did it… that’s all… so whatever happened, it happened because of my director (Anand L Rai) and God’s grace. In spite of me not looking good…” on this Sonam interrupted and remarked he looks good and she was immediately snubbed by Dhanush, who went on, “so yes, it’s all because of they both (director and God).” While Sonam feels that the film is made with so much love and especially they all had fun and everyone enjoyed doing the film. “And so audience loved it so much, I think,” justified the actress and jovially said that more than this she doesn’t know how and why the film has got good response, “I only know that we had great fun doing the film.”

As the topic shifted to working with each other…Talking about her co-star, Sonam said that it was great working with him and she also cheekily revealed that Dhanush is not so quiet in real. Agreeing on this, the actor said, Yes, with people whom I’m very good friends or close too…(or) have trust…I’m lot more open or else, I’m just quiet like this.”

On the other hand, referring to Sonam Dhanush said that she doesn’t like people complimenting her.

When asked what next… Dhanush shared that he will wait for next script that is as good as ‘Raanjhanaa’. While Sonam remarked, “I will be going on a holiday…” on which Dhanush mimicked her saying “Ya take three months off… I’m so jealous of you.” Sonam argued, “I can do only one or two films a year and I can’t work more than that…. I need to refresh myself,” Sonam who also added on lighter note that she might even go to Chennai, to Dhanush’s house and meet his family.

However Dhanush continued about his part, “No, I don’t have time to celebrate. I got lots of commitments.”

Referring to his next project, Dhanush said that he is looking forward to his south film which is releasing next month in July. While Sonam said that she has one Yash Raj Films’ project and her sister (Rhea)’s Khubsoorat.
